Hi, I’m Bernat Bonet, and 2 years ago I read ‘’Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone’’ and I recommended this book. Why? Because I don’t like to read a lot of books but I think that the book is better than the movie.

Harry is a boy that has been raised by his uncles because his parents died. When he turns twelve, he discovers that he belongs to the magic world, and he goes to Howards (a school for witches and wizards). He starts to learn magic, to make friends and starts to know about his past. Harry discovers that his parents were two important wizards and they were murdered by Voldemort (a black magic wizard).

Finally, he saves Hogwards with his friends, Hermione and Ron, and he wants to avenge the death of his parents.

El otro barrio

Hello, my name is Gerard and I am going to recommend you a great book!

El otro barrio, by Elvira Lindo, is a mystery and suspense novel about a boy, who lives in a difficult environment, who is accused of killing people. The boy didn't really kill those people and it was all an accident, but he has to prove it.

I read this book last year and at first it didn't convince me, but after a few chapters I loved it.

Hi everyone!

My name is Violeta and today I’m going to do a book recommendation.

My favorite book, which I’m going to recommend, is called The Cellar, written by Natasha Preston, a highly regarded English writer, known for her wonderful thrillers and mystery books. Why did I choose this book?

Well, first of all, this book talks about many interesting current topics, while telling the story of Summer, the main character, who is locked with three more girls in a peculiar basement. They are there because Clower, the kidnapper, has captured them to form a perfect family.

I love this book because it is very entertaining and keeps you in tension constantly since it is a thriller. There isn't any moment where you are bored. In addition, each chapter is from the viewpoint of one of the characters, so you can immerse yourself in the story. I actually devoured the book in a few days!

There are also two more books from the same collection but with different stories so you can read them in the order that you prefer. They are entitled The Cabin and The Anonymous. They are written in Spanish, English and, Catalan. Anyway, they are all incredible, for me the best crime and mystery books I've ever read.

Do not hesitate, buy them and immerse yourself in this story, because "if you enter, it will catch you" (quote from the book The Cellar).

Los FutbolΓsimos

Los Futbolisimos it’s a saga of “children’s books that I read when I was 9-10 years old.

In my opinion, it is a type of book that combines comedy with mystery and sports, so I think it is very interesting and I recommend it because it was very entertaining. There are a lot of books in this saga, like 19-20 and they always get more books. What about your favourite book?

La librerΓa Vidal, Juan Luis Vanrell Oms.

La librerΓa Vidal is a suspense novel based on a true story. The book is about a bookstore that is about to close in the old town of Valencia. We know the protagonists through the shop. A friendship arises between the two main characters through some problems familiars and money. I like how the writer uses the time into the story and the message that the book gave about money, family and the relation between the two topics. But at the same time I don’t like how at the end of the book some casualty things happen, that they do that the story has less credibility. Finally, I unquestionably recommend this book.

Hello everyone! I’m Carolina and I want to recommend you a book that I enjoyed a lot. That book is called “A tres metros sobre el cielo”, by Federico Moccia, and it’s the first of a trilogy.

This book is a very famous love story, maybe you have seen the movie (I recommend it too), and it’s about a toxic relationship between two very different people with some accidents and discussions. You can also find side stories that are so good in the same book.

This book is not a very important reading and is not going to change your life, but it’s entertaining and a good choice to have a good and relaxing moment reading. If you like it, the second and third parts are called “Tengo ganas de ti” and “Tres veces tΓΊ”, and those are very good stories too.

DONDE SURGEN LAS SOMBRAS by David Lozano

Donde surgen las sombras is a book amazingly written by David Lozano. It’s a thriller and mystery book with lots of plot twists. With these tricks, the author makes the reader can’t stop reading the book, which is exactly what happened to me because I wanted to know what was going to happen. The book is about the search for a disappeared teenager named Alex by three of his friends. Moreover, the best part of the book is when his friends find out what is going on and they realise that it depends on them to save Alex’s life. In conclusion, I think that it’s a really good book, and for the reasons that I have previously mentioned, I would recommend it to everyone who likes mystery books.

Ada y Eva by Leisy D.M.

Kaleb and Eva were the most popular couple in high school. In front of everyone they were a perfect couple, but when they were alone Kaleb hit her and treated her like a toy. Eva thought that he loved her, due to the fact that her father treated her mother the same way that Kaleb treated her.

A new student, Ada, who caused trouble the first day of school, became friends with Eva. She liked her because Ada made her happier than her boyfriend, but Kaleb, after finding out that Ada was a lesbian, forbade Eva to spend time with her. Despite that, the two girls met up in secret.

I recommend this book since I really liked and enjoyed reading it. Furthermore, it shows you that you shouldn’t hide who you really are just to please other people or to fit in, that you have to be yourself because you’re not alive to make other people happy. This book also shows what real love looks like, because you have to be with someone who makes you happy and that cares about you, not with someone who makes you feel insecure, scared and unloved.

The Prince of Mist

The book I’m going to recommend is a book that I read a couple of years ago. It’s called the Prince of Mist. The book is basically about the Carver family (the protagonist of our story) moving into what was the Fleischmann family home. As we can imagine, the Carver family bought the house. As soon as they arrived, Max Carver meets a village boy (Roland) who lives with his grandfather since his parents died in a traffic accident (Roland and his grandfather will play a fundamental role in the plot). Behind the house of the Carvers, Max discovers a garden of statues in which there are figures that make a very strange shape (a star surrounded by a circle). Max thinks this is really weird, and he’s researching it until he finds out that Roland’s grandfather may have some kind of connection to this.

This is a book that I highly recommend because if you like the genre of mystery this can get you hooked very fast and with this small summary I leave it here.

My book recommendation is “They both die at the end”, by Adam Silvera. This book was the first I read in English. I think this book is good to start reading in English, because the vocabulary is understandable. The plot of the book is about two teenagers (Mateo and Rufus) who are about to die. Adam Silvera narrates their last memories, actions, wishes…. Marcus and Rufus meet, accompany each other and fall in love. Together they begin to live in a day everything that they couldn’t in their lives.

I recommend this book to all the people who like different love stories.

SHADOWS IN THE DARK

If you are a person who enjoys reading mystery books, I recommend you this book: Shadows in the Dark. This book was written in 2015 by Arturo Padilla De Juan, a Catalan writer who won some prizes in literature and narrative. In my opinion, this book is very interesting and absorbing. When you start reading it, you can’t stop until you have finished it.

Shadows in the Dark is about six teenage friends that go camping to Sant Miquel’s mountain. They want to visit the ruins of an old castle and spend the night there in tents. But this night isn’t like any other. They have chosen Sant Joan’s night, and four years ago, in the same place and on the same day, a terrible and sad event took place. While they are climbing the mountain, they realize that a strange presence is hiding in the woods, watching and following them. The worst thing is that they don’t know how dangerous it can be when it’s dark… The day starts with a fun excursion and ends with the worst experience of their lives.

If you want to know what happened to the teenagers, read it! This book will impress you.

Book recommendation

My favourite book is The Lord of the Rings. I love the three books, but my favourite is the second (The Two Towers) because it is the most exciting, from my point of view. In the trilogy, there are a lot of incredible characters like Sam, Frodo, Voromir, Gollum, Legolas and Aragon. These are examples of the wonderful characters of The Lord of the Rings. Also, there are a lot of epic battles and emotional moments. Finally, The Lord of the Rings is one of the best sellers in history and one of my favourite stories.

Hi my name is Alba and I want to recommend to you my favourite book: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. This is my favourite book because it has everything. It has drama, action, comedy and romance.

The thing that I like the most in this book is the story and the unexpected plots twists.

The story is about a boy named Harry and his friends Ron and Hermione. They have magic powers and they go to a school called Hogwarts to learn to use them. However, there are a lot of difficult situations that they have to face up to.

In conclusion, you should read it because this book teaches you how you have to treat and open up to your friends, family and girlfriend or boyfriend and the importance of facing up to your problems.

THE PLAYBOOK

It's a book that is based on a character named Barney Stinson from a comedy series called "How I Met Your Mother." This book tells the techniques that Barney uses in the series to flirt with women.

I recommend this book, above all, for those who have seen the series, since it contains stories and techniques based on it, they are very funny and crazy. It is a quick book to read and I am sure it must have helped more than one person to flirt.

"THE WOLF AND THE SEVEN LITTLE KIDS"

I come to talk about a very common book in Spain, especially recommended for children from three to seven years old. I’m talking of the book "The wolf and the seven little kids", which is about seven kids who live with their mother. Their mother goes out for food, but first warns them of a big bad wolf that walks in the area. The mother leaves and after half an hour the wolf comes and tries to enter the house of the kids by tricking them. He tells them that he's their mother with a weak voice. In the end the kids open the door thinking that he's their mother but he's not and the wolf eats them all except the smallest because he is hiding in a watch.

I recommend this book to children so much because it teaches them in a funnier and more dynamic way that you must always obey your parents, you should never trust anyone you don't know exactly who they are, and that you have to be smarter than the person who wants to trick you.

Marfil y Γ‰bano

Hello, today in this blog I will recommend a set of two books that talk about the same story. These books are highly requested by young people, because they talk about life problems and love issues. This series of books is called Confronted.

The first book talks about the life of Marfil, a young student in New York. Her family is rich and her father is involved in bad business that will affect his daughter too. In the story, terrible things happen that will lead her to have a bodyguard, Sebastian. Finally, she will be forced to stay with Marcos.

The second book, Γ‰bano, is the continuation of Marfil. Γ‰bano is the name in Spanish of a dark stone with which he makes a comparison with Sebastian. In this book, Marcos mistreats Marfil, but Sebastian wants to help her and catch Marcos, finally ending with a death.

I recommend these books because when you read them, you have the desire to continue reading. All love and family problems are incredible and will change your whole life. The plot is entertaining because it not only talks about love, there are also problems that happen in real life and it is interesting and the characters are very well adapted. Many people who have read these books say that you never get bored, interesting things always happen. Also, we can say that the author, Mercedes Ron, is known for her other books that have also been very successful.

Book Recommendation

The book I want to tell you about today is Y luego ganas tΓΊ, written by 5 people: Andrea Compton, Javier Ruescas, MarΓa HerrejΓ³n, Jedet SΓ‘nchez and Manu Carbajo. I think that this is a good book to read for everyone, no matter your age.

It is about the story of each of the writers, explaining how they were victims of bullying and how they faced it.

One of the stories I really like is the one of MarΓa HerrejΓ³n, she opens up and tells us about the situation she lived all her life, especially in adolescence, because of her body, height and weight. Her classmates used to make fun of her because she was small and she was a hairy person. They called her things like “monkey”, but the worst was that they left her aside, to the point that they made her hate herself.

This is just one of the stories, each one of them makes you think, makes you reconsider and makes you be an empath, and they give you ways to help others, or even help you if you are fighting against something similar.

I really recommend this book to everyone, because I think that reading things like this makes you a more conscious person, and also a better person.
